What’s Included in Our Tire and Wheel Coverage
- Tire Protection
Covers the cost of repairs or full replacements for tires damaged by road hazards such as potholes, nails, or curb impacts. Protection is valid for the life of the tire tread, with a minimum remaining depth of 5/32 inch.
- Wheel (Rim) Protection
Provides repair or replacement coverage for wheels damaged due to road debris or curb contact. Replacements are matched to original quality, using OEM or remanufactured wheels of similar kind.
- Chrome Wheel Coverage (Optional)
Protects chrome and chrome-clad wheels from damage due to road hazards. This upgrade must be selected at the time of plan enrollment.
- Cosmetic Wheel Repair or Replacement (Optional)
Includes up to $600 in coverage for cosmetic wheel damage such as curb rash, flaking paint, or minor scuffs. Ideal for maintaining the appearance and value of high-end wheels.
- Mounting, Balancing, and Disposal
Covers the fair market costs associated with mounting, balancing, valve stems, and proper tire disposal when a tire is replaced under the plan.
What is Not Covered
The Tire and Wheel Protection Plan does not cover damage resulting from misuse, racing, or collisions. It also excludes coverage for tires with tread wear below 5/32 inch, any repairs not preauthorized by the plan administrator, and aftermarket wheels unless they are specifically included in the agreement.
